SIXTEEN DEATHS
The casualty list issued yesterday shows indications of some heavy fighting recently. The total number or casualties reported was 102, and of that number fourteen were killed in action, two died of wounds, and 86 wounded. No casualties to officers were reported. The names of the next-of-kin are given within parentheses, the relationship being denoted by m. for mother, f. for father, sis. for sister, b. for brother, w. for wife, a for aunt, ii. for uncle.
