Respecting the Christchurcli City Council ejections, the one hundred and twonty-third count resulted, in the election of B. J. Howard and on the one hundred and ninety-third count A. M'Kcllar (Citizens' .Association) 'was elected. The state of the parties now stands: —Citizens' Association, 8; Labour, 3; Independent, I. '. Lator. ■ .Messrs. Hunter (Labour) and Loashy (Citizens).have, beeu elected to the i City Council on the 243 rd count.
