NEW SOUTH WALES AGENT GENERAL
(Rec. May 1, 10.30 p.m.) . Sydney, May 1. The New South "Wales Cabinet lias fixed the terra of Mr. Wade's appointment as Agent-General at five years. Cabinet lias also decided to terminate the appointment of Mr. Nielsen, Trade Commissioner to the United States, This latter decision was the outcome of a report by Mr. Wade that this partioular commercial office was not worth its cost, £5000 per annum.—Press Association.
