BOY KILLED BY A PEA r RIFLE. By Telegraph—Pres?. Association. Blenheim, April 30. There- was a shooting fatality at Opouri Valley, Marlborough, on Saturday afternoon. George Pearce and lioslio Gibbs, aged 14 years, wore out with a pea-rifle. Gibbs was accidentally shot. Death was instantaneous. RUN OVER BY A TRAMCAR. Auckland April 30. Douglas Surteosj aged four years, died at the hospital as- tho result of injuries sustained .'through a tramcar running. over one of his legs, the foot being practically severed. FATALLY JAMMED BY A TRUCK. Auckland, April 30. Frank .Rhodes was jammed by a truck at Wcstficld Manure Works and died froni his injuries.
