London, April 27. Commodore Lionel Halsey has been promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. __ [Rear-Admiral Halsey commanded H.AI.S. New Zealand during her cruise round the world, and at the beginning of the war. Snbsequently he was'attached to H.M.S. Iron Duke as a member of Sir John Jellicoe's staff, and was promoted to-commodore. Hβ became Third Sea Lord of the Admiralty at the end of.last year.] .
