The raw leaf which Great Britain and Australia use for tho manufacture of their smoking tobaccos is almost entirely of Amorioan origin, and huge sums of money go annually to the U.S.A. Why not keep that monoy within 'our own country and Empire Now that N.Z. has its own tobacco industry we need import foreign brands no longer. Gold Pouch, N.Z.-grown tobacco excels all others in mildness and flavour, it contains far less nicotine, and is thus less harmful. Support local industries that givo profitable employment to our own folk, and benefit our population. But Gold Pouch is not only bettor and purer than the foreign article, it is more economical, too, 2-Jo;!.— as against ljoz.—for Is. Cigarette smokers should use N.Z.-grown "Three Diamonds" tobacco, far superior to tho i imported brands— for Is.—Advt.
