AEROPLANES AFTER THE WAR
COMMITTEE TO CONSIDER THEIR UTILITY. London, April 26. • In the House of Commons, Mr. J. L. Baird, Parliamentary Secretary to the Air Board, in. introducing the Aviation Estimates, said that after tlio ■ war thero would bo a vast number of machines and of trained pilots. The industry had been built up for war purposes, but it could not bo neglected in peaco time. A committee had been established to consider the question, with Lord Northcliffo as chairman/ and containing representatives of the two , aviation services, the Board of Trade, the Post Office, the Colonial Office, the Customs, the Treasury, and the Do-minions.—Aus.-N.Z.
