LOCAL AND GENERAL .—» -, ■ Tho names'of many persons and firms are added to the "black list" by a Gazette Extraordinary issued yesterday. The supplementary list deals largely with traders and trading concerns in South American countries, whore Germans liavo been very active in trado matters. Some corrections in tho names and addresses of certain enemies and onemy firms already on the "black list" are made, and a few names previously gazetted are removed from the list. Tho chairmen of tho various Military Servico Boards "mot. in AVellington yesterday. They discussed 'several points that had arisen in the. courso of thenwork, with the object of securing uniformity of practice! in dealing with certain classes of appeals. They conferred with military 'authorities regarding some matters, and also met the members of tho National Efficiency Board. Tho chairmen had found that many or iihe appeals brought before them in the various districts raised questions that belonged to the domain of the Efficiency Board. ThoHon. A. ,M. Myers, Minister-of Munitions,attended the conference. Tho Defence Minister. Sir James Allen, also mot tho chairmen during tho'day.
