" Yesterday was a perfect late autumn day, clear-sky,, bright sunshine, and a soft touch in. the air. .The weather generally throughout the country has been from fair to cloudy, with some rain-in the north. ■ Moderate and variable winds have prevailed. _ Present indications, states the official forecast, are for increasing northerly winds, chancing to westerly, with a falling barometer everywhere. Cloudy and unsettled weather is likely, with rain in many parts of tho country.
