"WATCH YOUR STEP." The company which is producing the "Watoh Your Step" revue at the Grand Opera House in 'aid of the Returned Soldiers' Association had a.nother appreciative audience last evening. The revue abounds in popular comedy tui'ne, some well arranged ballets, aJld somo excellent spectacular effects are- included in the programme. One o£ the most successful items last night was a "Harry Lander" turn by Mr. C. B. Throsby, who sanß "I'm Fu' the Noo"' with mu6h humour. Mies' Eva Cardston, as the leading lady, had a great, deal Of work, and woe pleasing throughout. Ihe other members of the company were in good form. Tho revue will bo, repeated this evening. HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. ._ ' ' Hie Majesty's Theatre has been so well patronised this week that it has been found necessary on one oocasion to open tho upper circlo to Cope with tho number of .patrons. It only required a glar.ee at tho programme to see the reason, for it is one oE real merit. Principal on tho bill aro Walter Emereon, the , well-known comedian; Lieut. Gordon, a TOnfriloquist; George Wheeler, an eccentric musician; Tiny , Tot and Marjorie, .and Minerva and Gracej acrobats and gynlnaste; and several other well varied and entertaining items. The audience last evening included about.M Tahitiajis, who were the special guosts of. tho luanagonient. .. ' ' THE KING'S. "Arsene Lupin," tho master cracksman of French fiction, .is cleverly'■ pictured in the London Film Company's splendid production under this'title at tho King's. Tho battle of wits with the Chief of tho Paris Police, tho'journey into tho fovor-infested wilds of Africa, and .the- .'gkilfully-intero'oren thread of romance, provide a play that is drawing considerably moro than avorage patTonnge. /To-morrow Peggy Hyland will be 'seen in ft powerful new Vitagraph drama, called "The Enoiny." ■; .. THE EMPRESS. "Tho Rise of Susan," with Clara Kimball Young, first as a inodiste's mannequin, and later as a bogus countess, presents some characters which aro familiar in ovoryday life. Beautiful gowning and a remarkably powerful denouement arc outstanding featuree of the production. Commencing to-morrow, Alice Brady will be screened in a World feature, called "The Hungry Heart." Charles Chaplin, in "Tho Vagabond" is on the samo bill. . , -EVERYBODY'S. . ■ ; ' '"Ihe Female of- the Species," which is being finally presented at Everybody's to-day, describes a siren's attempt to win the'affection of a man accidentally bereft of his memory. Hie brave littlo wife puts up a strenuous fight, and her' wit wins him back. Billie Burke's presont story is "The Shadow of Scandal." Tomorrow Wm. S.
