KNOCKED OVER BY A TRAMOAR.

Shortly hefore 9 o'clock yesterday morning Mr. L. P. Fraser, . a wellknown accountant, residing in wevo Street, was knocked down by car iso. 112 (Motorman Reeves), outside the Bank of New Zealand. Mr. Fraser, who is hard of hearing, was crossing the. street, and apparently-was not awaro of the approach of the car until it was almost on top of him Hβ endeavoured to step back, but was too late. Motorman Reeves pulled the car up immediately, and the injured man was carried into the bank, where an Sot by Dr. Elliott showed that he had suffered no severe injuries, but was shaken and bruised. Ho was taken to his home. •
