LAD WITH AN ALIAS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hamilton, April 26. In tho Supreme Court, before Mr. Justice Hosking, a boy aged 15, who had adopted an alias, was brought up for sentence, onia chargo of forging and uttering at Rotorua. Prisoner stole a blank cheque from his employer, filled it in, and gave it to another boy to cash. Tho attempt was' unsuccessful, and the boy was arrested. I ■ I,.'"' The Judge said this was the youngest prisoner with an alias who had .yet come before him. He would give liim one more chance on the understanding that he returned home, ho having run away. Prisoner would be convicted, and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon. Ho was placed ■under the supervision of the probation officer for eighteen months.
