In the Supreme Court this morning, before Mr. Justice Hosking, by direction of tlio Attorney-General, stay of proeeodings was entered under vSection 435 of the Crimes Act in regard to the remaining charges of perjury against Natives. in connection with tho Una trial at Auckland. This leaves it open to the Crown to reinstate the charges if subsequent events warrant it.
