CANADA'S WAR FINANCE
REVENUE NEARLY DOUBLED. Ottawa, April 25. The Budget Speech disclosed that Canada's revenue for the year ended ■March., last was 330,000,000 dollars, compared with 170,000,000 for tho previous year. After meeting all capital expenditure, interest, and pension charges the Government is able to pay 60,000,000 dollars off the principal of war expenditure. During the war there were floated in Canada loans aggregating 350,000,000 dollars, besides furnishing 150,000,000 dollars to the Imperial Treasury to meet commitments for munitions and supplies in Canada.— Renter.
