Expect increasing cloudiness and rain following generally. The barometer is falline'every■wherefor the development of a westerly storm area about the end of the week. . 'A southerly gale is reported this evening at Capo Maria Van Diemen Klseivhere tho winds havo been 'variable and moderate to strong.
