■ The following teams will play for Kelburn against Tβ Hiwi on Saturday next, on Tβ Hiwi green:—Batten, Hunter, Duguid,iMeadowcroft (p.);' J. Widdop. Nicholis, King, Ganna'way (s.). The following teams have been selected to,' play against Kelburn at Te Hiwi 'on Saturday.:—Smith, Cohen, Homer, E. J. Hill (s.); Houldsworth, Innes, Warwick, Shallorase (s.).

A service to commemorate Anzac Day was held in the Angl'jon Chuich, Shannon, on Wednaiiiy night. Notices had teen given out at the other churches on Sunday last, and aE invitation given to all to he prownt. Rev. 0. Palmer conducted the service, assisted by Mr. Clayton. There was a large attendance. Some women are convinced that unless many hours be given to the complexion it is -useless to do anything. This is an error.
