PRISONERS AND BOOTY
The High Commissioner reports: London, April 23, 2.45 p.m. 'An official dispatch from Mesopotamia states: "On Saturday night the enemy evacuated the remainder of the Istabulafc position. Tho portions which we stormed were consolidated* on Saturday. At daybreak on Sunday we pressed the pursuit, capturing prisoners and a six-inch howitzer. Tho enemy was found to bo occupying another position on the right bank of the Tigris, sis miles nearer Samara. Tho position is being attacked."
