' Tlio Poherua arrived last evening from Onehunga, and to-day loads for Timariu. Tho vessel .sails this afternoon, and re-, eeivos'cargo for the southern port irntil 2 p.m. : At Timarii sho -loads for Auckland. The Kararau, whioh arrived hero from Auckland, via ports, has not yot hod any movoments fixed. Tho Ktttawa is expected from Dunedin on Wednesday, and will load for Napier, Gisborno, and Auckland. Sho oan only receive a vory small amount of cargo here for those ports. The Kamo, at present in tho Eonth, is to tako cargo from Lyttelton to Auckland. MESS-TABLE GOSSIP. Mr. D. J. M'Dowell has joined tho Nga-. hero as first mato. Mr. W. F. Mulgon, ohiof engineer of tho Ngahere, has corao ashore, and has been, replaced by Mr. S. A. Murray. . ','., , Mr. D. Boss has joined tho Kamona as, second engineer. ' Tho John -was at Diraodin yesterday, and should bo at Oamaru to-day and Timaru to-morrow. She-is fixed to leave Timaru to-morrow for Wellington, where she is due early on FjiSay. Tho vessel Vfill leave hero tho Eamo day for Wanganui.
The Neahero left last evenipg for Wanganui and New Plymouth. From the latter port tho vessel goes on to Greymouth. ' ■, '
■ Tho Magic is expected to get horo on Wednesday from Sandy Bay. Her future movements aro at present indefinite. Messrs. Levin and Co. advise that the Itarawa.is to leave Onehunga to-day' for New Plymouth, and will leave New Plymouth on the return trip to-morrow instead of to-day as time-tabled.
Tho Hawcre is due here to-day, but owing to the coal trouble her future movements are somewhat indefinite.
The Defender has been fixed to leave at 5 p.m. to-day for Picton, Greymouth, and Hokitika. At tno latter port she loads back to Wellington.
The Nikau iB at present undergoing overhaul at Nelson. If the overhaul progresses as well as is expected the vessel should Ret here about Monday next to go on the patent slip to complete.
Repairs to the Wotton are beinir carried out as fast as possible, but it -will be towards the end of the week before she oan leave here. ■ ,
