In the Supremo Court to-day Wi Hane, Native interpreter, who pleaded guilty to secretins: a witness in connection with.the Rua,series of trials, at Auckland,; was Brought"up for sentence. ■' In passing judgment His Honour said he could not.dismiss from his mind what was \irged, by counsel for the defence in regard to certain considerations in favour of prisonor. Prisoner would he sentenced to seven Weeks' imprisonment, the sentence to date from the opening of the sessions. He was '. also ordered to pay. costs, amounting \o £20. Prisoner's sentence terminates to-morrow. The Court adjourned till Tuesday.
