RIFLE SHOOTING
THE KAE.ORI CLUB. Tho Karori Defence Riflo Club , fired the first three matches for the C.A.C. Cup on Saturday afternoon, on tho Petone Rifle Club's range at Waiwetu. . SUBUBBS V. OLD NAVALS. Toams matches were fired on' the Suburbs range, Miramar, on. Saturday between the Old Naval Rifle Club and Suburbs, at ranges 300, 500, and 600 yardsi tho Old Navals winning by 12 points. The best shoot of tho day was by H. Hunt, who notched 97. The only possible was made by'R. Pringle at 800 yards. At the conclusion.of the match Mr. O, R. Graham, president of the Suburbs, congratulated the Old Navals on their win. President Rabe, in reply, said he was glad, his club had won this match, it being the close of their shooting for.the season.
