A CHILLY SNAP
Yesterday opened with a keen southerly wind arid heavy' rain, squalls, but the weather gradually cleared and the afternoon and evening were fine.' The wind gradually, dropped-to a light breeze, but the "bito" in the air was sharp. Similar conditions have prevailed generally elsewhere. Present indications, according to the official forecast, are for variable, winds, with south-easterly to north-easterly breezes predominating. Fair to cloudy weather is to be looked for.
