THE ASSOCIATION 7 GAME. ,A meeting of the committee of tho Football Association was held last evening, tliero being present: Messrs. W. Auid (chairman), i\ O'Driscoll, A. Williams, B. Hill, and C. Webster. Tho election of oommittees for tbo coming year resulted as follows.— Chairman of 'Committees, Mr. A. E. Wells; Grounds arid Championship Committeo, Messrs. H. Yeoman, F. O'Driscoll, and 0. Webster; Postponement Committee, Messrs. W. Dunoon, A. E. Wells, and H. Yeoman j Finance Committee, Messrs. A. AVilhams, W. Duncan, and A. 15. Wells; Boys and Schools Sub-Committee, held over. An application from a newly-formed club at Lower Hutt to be affiliated with 1 tho association was received, and tho club was admitted to the association. A letter was received from tho 80th N.C.O.'s at Trenthain, who desired to form a.Trentham Club, and to bo given games throughout the year with the association. This letter, together with several others regarding age limits in certain olasses, is to be considered at a. special meeting of all delegates to be held next Wednesday. This meeting is to consider different applications from clubs, allotment of grounds, matches, etc., and it will also be decided what competitions will be played during tho coming year. Nominations for the competitions will close next Wednesday. night. . It was decided to play'-the first J matches of the season on May 5.
