AUTOGRAPHED UNION JACK. ' */ ' This atternoonat the Grand Opera House s. big effort is to be made by the members of J. C. Williamson's Comedy Company, headed by Miss Beatrice Holloway aid". Mr. Robert Greig, and assisted by meatfeers of Mr. Ben J. Fuller's vaudeville : and the Trentham Military Band, to raise funds for tho Returned Soldiers' Club. The Trentham Bard will head a procession of returned.soldiers and sailors from the Returned Soldiers' Club at about 2 o'clock. The band will then play selections from the balcony of the Opera House from 2.30 p.m. until 3 o'clock. The entertainment in the theatre will commence at ' 3 o'clock, when the band will play a specially-selected overture. Then the following artists will: present their specialty turns: —Mr. Robert Greig, Miss Beatrice Holloway, Miss Esther Mitchell, Miss Marion Marcus Clarke, Miss Violet Yorke, Mrs. A. Wilson, Mr. Harold Moran, Mr. Haydn Beck, of J. C. Williamson's Company, and Miss Maud Huia and Mr. Huntley' Spencer, of Mr. Ben. J. Fuller's vaudeville During the interval Mr. Robert Greig and Miss Beatrice Holloway will sell by auction the autographed Union Jack,. which • is on' view at the Singer's depot in...; Willis Street. Seats for the Anzac concert will also be sold by auction. Afternoon tea will be provided by leading ladies of. Wellington and the lady members of J. C. Williamson's Company. There will be no charge for admission. The autographed flag has bean presented by Miss Beatrice Holloway, and as the theatrical rieople have gono to'a deal of trouble over the effort to raise money for the Soldiers' Club, it is to be hoped the public will respond I to the occasion.
