TURKS STEADILY .DRIVEN ;BACK, ; (Rec. April 17, 3.5 p:m.) London, April 16. An official dispatch from General Maude, in.Mesopotamia,/ states:—"We continue to drive the Turks back. It is reported that the Turks have again appeared in the Jebel Hamrin hills, from which'they Started on-April 9. The 13th Turkish Army Corps sustain-; ed severe losses on Aprilll, 315' dead; being counted on the battlefield."—. Renter.
