G.'Riddoll., S.M;,'into the cause . of ■', death of; Jeremiah Carroll, a, • wharf.'labourer, aged sixty years..whose body was found in the harbour off Oriental Bay on Sunday last. He was reported missing from his home on' April 5. Mrs.' Carrpl] • stated that her''husband had'sufEeredi for,the past; twelve months from.in-', terrial pains'; and had been' attended by a doctor. Three weeksbeforo he ,leffc home he had been suffering very severely; and was very despondent. ■ After hearing further evidence, the Coroner, returned a verdict that, ceased was .found drowned, in-Welling-ton Harbour on' Apri- 15, but that, •there was/no evidence to show how he, got into the water." ,
