ANNUAL MEETING. i. Th? Wellington Rugby Football Union held its annual meeting last evening. In the absence of the president and viceMr. D. fi. Weir presided. The chairman moved the adoption of the annual report and the balancwheet (already published). He observed that the finances of the union had gone back to the extent of .£7OO in' the course of the past year,, and they would go back still further in the coming season, as the union would not •> have the same draw" matches this.year. . . K. Newman; vicepresident, Messrs.- J. P. Firth, G. F. C. Campbell, E. 0. Hales, and Dr. MTDvedy; management committee, Messrs. Montgomery, Kitto, Weir, Howe, Donovan, Jackson; Buck, Millard, and Carman; delegates to New Zealand Union, Messrs. E. O. Hales, E. Little, J. H. Lynskey, G. Howe, A. C. Kitto; auditor, Mr. O. G. Kember; treasurer; Mr. Hornig.
