STAFF APPOINTMENTS

The following appointments,, promotions, and transfers on the New Zealand Staff Corps are announced: —

Major F. H. Lampen, N.Z.S.C., is struck off the strength of tho N.Z.E.F. and absorbed into the establishment with his original rank and seniority therein as captain, and 'is granted the temporary rank of major whilst employed as camp adjutant, Trentham Camp. Bryan, N.Z.S.C.,' is struck off the strength of the N.Z.E.F; and absorbed into the establishment with his original rank and seniority therein as lieutenant, as from August 16, 1914. 'He retains the temporary rank of captain whilst holding the appointment of" Assistant Military Secretary and Aide-de-Camp to the Commandant, New Zealand Military Forces. Dated March 31. 1917. ; ' Lieut. N. W. M'D. Weir. N.Z.S.C, is struck off tho strength of the N.Z.E.F., and absorbed into the establishment with his original rank and seniority therein as lieutenant, as from August 16, 1914. He retains tho temporary rank of captain whilst euinlovgd as musketry instructor in the N.Z.KF. Training Camps. Dated March 31, 1917. -'.'■-. Lieut. E. T. Rowlings.
