World's Press Congress has postponed the Sydney Section from March 1917 to Easter, 1919. . America's entry into the war had largely contributed to thoir decision. Mr. Holman. promises continued Government support and cooperation in the direction of making tho 1919 meeting successful. In the meantime there will he a' - temporary cessation, till towards the end of tho preKont 'year, of tho activities of the Australian and New Zealand executives. , NATIVE DISTURBANCES AT NOUMEA . FRENCH CRUISER, DISPATCHED. Sydney, April 16. Advices from Noumea state that disturbances with tho natives have occurred 1 in several places over tribal matters.
