'At St. Androw's Presbyterian Church, Milawa (Victoria), the congregation was alarmed by the sudden appearance, during the course of the sermon, of a brown snake, > five feet long, which appeared under the seat in front of one-of the worshippers. Hu moved quietly/forward and whispered to the preacner, "Snake!" The minister said laconically, "Get it." Tho worshipper dropped a seat on tlio snako, and another member of tho congregation finished it off with his walk-ing-stiok, and carried it outside. When lie returned the minister had concluded his sermon.
