N.Z. TOY DOG CLUB'S SHOW
SOME FINE EXHIBITS
There were good entries and keen competition at the New Zealand Toy Dog Club's show, which was held in the Skating Rink on Saturday. There were many visitors from Christchurch and who brought their dogs to compete in tie various classes. +i, On n r ™ ans constituted a record for the JJomini,oi in numbers and quality. ; itiere w,<src several very rare breeds esh'-dlted, including Malteso and YorkJUrfre terriers, a Kjng Charles spaniel, ' and a brace of Mexican Chihuahuas. The majority of tho exhibitors wero ladies, with a good sprinkling of khakiclad mon, probably exhibiting for tho last.timo beforo leaving for active service. . A nice brace of Mrs. R. C. Reiinor's Pomeranians, which comprised Shamrock's Sable Atom (imp.) and Orange Tiny Duchess (imp.), and Mr. A. Sherbrook's Oricn&l Orange Mite, wore'on exhibition only. The success of the show was to a great extent due to the energy and enthusiasm of the sec- '-. rotary (Mr. ' Barlow Wills). Tho judglis were: Mr. Wi H.
