Easter Carnival at Randwick, and there was a large . attendance. The going was a trifle slow. The Christian Brother put up the best race of the day. Bombita looked a winner inside the distance in the Place Handicap, but The .Christian Brother, with a, great run, beat Bombita at the post. There were only three runners in the A. J.O. Plate. Green Cap, the favourite, realised expectations. • Shepherd, the rider of Torone in the Steeplechase, was disqualified during the committees pleasure for continuing to race atter evading a jump, and giving unsatisfactory evidence.
