• ' The .appeal" of the chairman of the Patriotic- Society (Mr. T.M. Wilford, M.P.)' for.£7s to purchase a piano, etc.. : for the 24th. Reinforcements resulted .-in a very satisfactory- response, and ■Jlr. Wilford'.was able yesterday to pur'ch'ase a piano and a selection of music, also two.gramophones',and 126 records. Mr. Wilford hopes to got enough money this morning to add to ' the above a first' and_ second violin, and a cornet, so that with' the piano the men will be able to have a small orchestra. . Messrs.
