SICKNESS IN CAMPS
PRESENT POSITION VERY' SATIS- ■ ./-FACTORY.The amount of sickness in the military camps at the present time is less than one-quarter of the amount recorded at the corresponding.period of last year. The position is regarded as very satisfactory by the medical authorities. ' There are no cases of measles in the hospitals, and colds and influenza are not prevalent. An epi.demic of gastroenteritis was being- experienced at Featherston this time last year, but this trouble has not recurred. . ■■ "■ ■-■'.'.
