MISSION TO SEAMAN CONCERT

•■ The weekly concert at the Mission to Seamen Institute was.held on. Thursday night, and the following report of the entertainment has been supplied :— Miss Gawler opened with a pianoforte solo. Mr. Bryant sang "Home Land," and as an encore, "For You Alone." Mr. F. Bromley recited "A Gentleman Banker," and as an encore, "A Similar' Case." Miss M. Jennings sang ' "The Sunshine °f Your Smile." 'Mr. TV*. Wood' recited' "Smiting the Bock,' and as an encore sang "Gee, But It's Great to Meet a Friend From Your Home Town." Mr. M'Farlane sane "Minnie," with a special chorus. Mr. Size contributed a mouth organ solo. Mr. Cooper played a solo on the same instrument, and Mr. Size "won the prize for the best item. Miss Gawler lead in a few ragtimes. Mr. Bromley recited ''New Year's Eve." Miss Gawler sang "Mother Machree" very sweetly, and as an encore "Just Her Way." Mr. Bryant sang "There's aLong, Long Trail," the audience joining in the chorus. Miss Jennings sang "When You Come Home." ,M.r. Moore told a number of stories. Miss M. Gawler filled the role of accompanist, and received hearty thanks for her services.
