GOOD TEMPLARS

GRAND LODGE SESSION. ; The biennial session of the Grand Lodge of New Zealand was" continued in the Baptist Schoolroom yesterday, and was presided over by Bro. T. H. Dalton, G.C.T. (Dunedin). . A commencement was made on the remits on the agenda paper. The report of the Special Committee on Finance was received and adopted. The report of the Representatives' Account Committee was adopted. The election of officers was adjourned till to-day. / A juvenile rally was held under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodgo in the Baptists' Schoolroom in the evening. The • hall was crowded with juvepiles and adult members and friends. Sister Mrs. Gunnell, A.G.S.J.W. (Christchurch)', presided, assisted by Sister Mrs." Roberts (superintendent of Rising Star Temple) and Bro. Rose (Hope or Potone Temple). The following. contributed items to the programme:— Pianoforte solo, Sister Leslie; recitation, Sisters Bennett, Duncan, Hitchon, and Roberts; song, Sister ' Phyllis Grey; duet, Sisters Petherick and Roberts; song, Sister. Irene Grey; temperance song,' Sisters Roberts and Petherick and Bro. Roberts. Addresses were given by the G.C.T., Bro. Dalton, Bro. D. G. Cameron,' G..E.A;, Bro. Ellis, Bro. Griffiths, G.C., Bro. G; Andrews, P.G.C.T., and Sister Watson, P.S.J.W. Refreshments wero provided during the evening.
