Wedding in St. Paul's. The marriage took place in St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral on Tuesday of Mr. Ivor Vernon Wilson, of Featherston, to Miss Mona Moore, elder daughter of Mr. and Mts. J. T.' Mooro, of Carterton. The coremony was performed by the Rev. A. M. Johnson, and tho Rev. Mr. Young, of Carterton, and Mr. Parker officiated at the organ. The bride, who was given away by_ her father, wore a gown of white chiffon taffetas, •the bodice being of lace trimmed wita bauds of taffetas edged with white fur. Tho veil was arranged with clusters of orange blossoms and rows of pearls. The Drido carried a houquot of white flowers. Miss Molly Moore, wearing a frock of pale blue taffetas and georgette, and Miss Lila Dawson, in pale pink taffetas and georgette, with black hats lined with blue and pink respectively, wore the bridesmaids. Mr. Arthur Locker was the best man, and Mr. W. A. Hutton tho groomsman. Mrs. Wilson, mother of tho bridegroom, wore black brocade, and Mrs. Moore, the bride's mother, was also in black, witha hat trimmed with autumn-tinted foliage. A reception was afterwards held in Kirkcaldio's tea-rooms, and during tho afternoon Mr. Hamilton Hodges sang.

Wellington Red Cross Shop. On Friday the Wellington Red Cross Shop will have a big supply of produce, meat, poultry, eggs, ham, butter, jams, piokles, • chutneyb, fruit, home-made I cakes, sweets, and flowers. The ladies of the Red Cross Depot, Mercer Street, have had many promises of supplies, and are anxious that tho buyers should be as numerous as usual, so.that our sick and wounded soldiers in "England may receive the comforts 1 towards which the proceeds of this shop go. Those who desire, dainty needlework, fancy bags, boudoir caps, cto., should visit the shop, as this stall will be a feature of the s'alo. Already £1100 has_ been sent since last December, and it is tho bope of the committee that the success of this work should continue. Tho Eastbourne ladies last week sent to the secretary (Mrs." Firth) £56, proceeds of their week-end shop day, which they hold at Rona Bay every three months. This large sum, coming as it did from a small seaside .resort, goes to show the intense desire of all to help the Red Cross work.

Ladies' Municipal Golf Club. . A meeting of tho ladies playing on the Municipal Golf Links was held in the club pavilion yesterday afternoon, for tho purpose of considering the question as to "\vhothcr they should become a branch of the men's club or remain' entirely separate. Tho point at issue was ofsomo interest to tho members,.', and after.somo discussion it was finally decided to turn the ladies' club into a blanch of tho Wellington Municipal .Golf Club. Mrs. Munro was elected captain and Mesdames Gibson, Martin, and Watt as tho committee. Mrs. Hawson was appointed assistant to the club secretary. Another .matter dealt with'at the meeting wa-s the arrangement of various competitions. Tho meeting terminated with a vote of thanks to Mrs. Whitoombo and other officials of tho club for their services. Ladies wishing to join are invited to communicate with Mrß. Mr. and Mrs. Dalziel (Manawa, Tenui), are staying at tho Hotel Cecil. ■■..'.-. Miss Stott was tho guest of Miss C. Hosking, Masterton, at Easter. Mrs. Bett (Palnierston North) has come to Wellington to stay with her mother, Mrs. Gore, of Aurora Terrace, while Dr, Bett is away-on active service.. Mrs. Tyleo (Makuri) is staying at tho Hotel Cecil; also Mr. and Mrs. T. Hutchenson, of Greymouth. Mr. and Mrs. Sheath returned to Tenui to-day. from a visit to Wellington. Staff-Nurse A. M. Rom. 22,'36?„ or the N.ZXN.S., was reported yesterday to'be seriously ill m hospital, ine next-of-kin of Nurse Rose resides at Dipton, Southland. Mrs. Tate,' a member of the Hawera Patriotic Association; and her daughter'spent the Easter time m Wellington, and visited .the Town Hall, where, they were shown some of the worK which is done for the soldiers by the Mayoress's Countess of Liverpool Fund Committee, and had several of the methods of work explained to them. Dr and Mrs, Moore and Mr. and Mrs J. B. Dolan, of Napier, motored through to Wellington during, the Easter holidays, and Mrs. Dolan raI tends leaving for the Wairarapa to 1 visit friends, and Mr. Dolan returns I to Napier on Saturday.

Wedding at Karori. At the Methodist Church, Karori, on Saturday last, Miss Lucy Raine, eldest daughter of Mr. J. G. Raine, was married to Mr. A. H. Topham, of Tikapau, formerly a. member of the ftxrwuitionary Forces, and a. participant in the Gallipoli campaign. The chuicu wis prettily decoravcti, and the creiiiuny was attended by a very large gathering of old friends and visitors from far and near. Tho Roy. Amos Reader was the officiating minister, and the attendant bridesmaids were Miss Florenco Raine (sister of the brido) and Miss Hilda Dryden. Mr. L. Ashworth and Mr. Frank Walsh attended the bridegroom as best man and groomsman respectively, both of them being returned soldiers. Tho brido woro cream crepe de chene, with ah overdress of Georgette and lace, and a veil and orange blossom, and the bridesmaids were in pretty cream eolino frocks with cream hats to match, trimmed with red berries. Each wore gold pendants, the gifts of the bridegroom.' The bride carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums and dahlias, with maidenhair and asparagus fern, while those of tho bridesmaids wero touched with autumn tints and red ribbons. The guests were afterwards ontertnined at a reception in tho church hall, and later the bride and bridegroom left for the north.
