Mr Richard Olney, ex-Secretary of (State, is /dead 1 , aged 82 [The lite Mr Olney was elected a member of the House of Representatives for Massachusetts in 1874 was appointed United States Attorney- , in 1893, and tuo rears later became Secretary of State m President Cleveland's Cabinet Prosident Wilson in 1913 offered him the post of Ambassador to England, but Mr Olney declined it. For the last two years he had been the American member of the International Commission under the Treaty between the United States and France.]
