NEW TRAMWAYS RECORD. • The receipts on the Wellington tramways for Thursday last were the largest for. any. one day since the. electrical system of road-cars was instituted in Wellington. On that day the actual cash taken (including.moneys received for concession tickets from the various agents) amounted to £1008 195.. 2d. This is the first occasion on.whicE. a day's revenue has amounted to four figures or over,, and is easily a record.
