EPIDEMIC IN ANAVAL;COLIiEGE. ""'•-.■■'.'-.(K-ec,..April'6, .5.5 p.m.) "\ ' ■V '■"•.•,::,.. ■-. London,: -April 5.' Replying to Mr. A. Shirley Benn, Dr. Macnamara- (Parliamentary. Secretary to tho Admiralty) said there had been a serious epidemic of measles and influenza, followed by bronchial pneumonia, at Osborne Naval College. There were six deaths out of 280 cases at the one time. The epidemic had now partially subsided, for there were only seventy-six cases. There had been similar epidemics in public schools, and four had been closed.—Aus.-N.Z! Cable Assn. .
