DOMINIONS AFFECTED . (Reo. April 6, 10.45 a.m.) LonrTon, April 4. In the House of Commons, Sir Leo Chiozza Money said the Ship Controller had requisitioned one thousand vessels, of which eight - hundred were cargo-carriers, and was also combing out vessels in distant parts of the world; and employing them nearer home, in order to bring the maximum of imports. The Government would be compelled to even limit the shipping facilities of the Dominions, which nad loyally accepted the position, despite loss. The Government was endeavouring to map out.the country's trade, providing the tonnage necessary for imports and exports. Forty-three million , tons of cargo were brought in 1916:—Aus L .-N.Z.
