At the 123 rd meeting of, the Richmond Free Kindergarten Council, were present: Mrs. Gill (in the chair), Mesdames Kennedy, Luxford, Moran, Ewen, Eichelbaura, Clark, Anderson, Watt, Dixon, Misses England, Helyer, Newton, Myers, Stowe, Hisoock, and Seaton. Accounts to tho amount of £75 13s. lid. were passed for payment. Miss Riley reported that tho quarterly returns showed a most satisfactory, state in the kindergartens. The attendance had been excellent, and each of the live schools had a "waiting list." A most acceptable.gift of 'kindergarten equipment was received from Miss Pigtrford, headmistress of Mount Cook Girls'-School. The amount realised by tho produce sale held ou March 16 was £S1 odd. The-council wishes to thank all their friends who helped so. kindly at the sale—the D.I.C. for loan of bunting, Messrs. Bonnet and Ready, Mr. Luxford, sen., Mr. Smelt, and all stall-holdors and donors of produce.
