SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY

• 'Again last night at the Sailors' Friend Society there was a largo audience on the 'occasion of tho Misses Clarke's concert', i which was all the men could desire. The competition was very funny and helpful. During Mr. Moore's address on temperance he announced pleasures for the men on Good Friday and Easter. Cheers rewarded the following:—Misses D. Clarke, Sutherland, and M. Clarko, and Messrs. Manthel," Russell, Ray, Ross, and Froemantle. Niue men signed the pledge.
