Correspondence for all neutral countries is subject to censorship. The parcel post mail per. Main Trunk express closes at the C.P.O. at 11.30 a.m., and for the. south per ferry steamer, at 5.45 p.m. : '•■•■■ The advertised -(itMe for oloßine mails by steamers are liable to alteration (earlier or later) at any moment. Easter Holidays.—On Good Friday, April 6, the Postal Department will be closed in all. its branches. Mails for dispatch, by, steamers will cloee at 8. p.m. on the previous evening, and the only dispatches of correspondence by trains will close on Good Friday as follows:—For the TTairarapa, Hawko's Bay, Menawatu, -Bangltlkei. Wanganni, and Taranaki diatriots at 5.45 a.m.; for Auckland and Auckland district at 8 a.m., Tho city and suburban reoei-rera will not be cleared during the day, but the midnight clearances will be made ae usual. There will not be eny deliveries by letter-carriers on Good Friday, but on Thursday, April 6, the Carriers' Department (upstairs from Feathereton Street) will be open, for the delivery or correspondence addressed to:streets in the oity and suburbß from 8 to 9 p.m.; also thepublio counter for the delivery of correspondence addressed Chief Post Office, and the parcels, delivery counter -will be open from 8 to 9 p.m. On Easter Monday, April 9, tho Chief Post Office will be open in all.its branches (except Money Order and Savings Bank) from 9to 10 a.m. Mailß for. diepatch by eteamere will close at I a.m., and tho only dispatches of correspondence by trains will close ae follows:—For the WairaTapa, '•■ :Hawke'9 : Bay, -.."_ Manawatu, Rangitikei, Wanganui, and Taranaki districts et 6.45. a.m.; for Auckland and Auckland district at 8 a.m.' The oity and suburban leoeivers -will not be cleared during the day, but night clearances will be made as usual. There will bo no delivery of correspondence by. letter-carriers in the city or suburbs, but on Saturday, April 7, the letter-oarriere will make a full delivery in the city and suburbs in the afternoon, for whioh correspondence must bo posted at the Chief Post Office by 1.40' p.m. The Lotter-carriere' Department (upstairs from Feotherston Street) will be open fiom 8 to-9 p.m. on Saturday for the delivery of correspondence addressed to GtTeet9 in the city;and.suburbs; also the public delivery counter, Trill be open from 8 to 9 p.m. for the delivery of correspondence addressed to the Post Office, and the parcels delivery counter will be open from 8 to 9 p.m. A.
