Y.M.C.A. NOTES
, The Y.M.O.A. main building in Willis Street, and the Hostel in Boulcott Street wer6 again crowded with soldiers on Saturday and Sunday. Just on 200 : men from tie camps wcro supplied with beds. Most of these men would have been unablo to find accommodation elsewhere. There was a crowded audience at the Sunday afternoon's men's meeting. Mr. 0. S. Falconer gave an address; and Mr. Don Scott sang a solo. Thirty soldiers and strangers wcro entertained at the stfangers' tea. '. The winter activities of the local association will bo in full swing immediately after Easter. The Literary and Debating Society, under the leadership of Mr. J.. Caa)ghlcy,\assistant director of education, will comraonco it's session on April 23. Amongst other activities will be the. Old Boys' Club for those 18 to 21, male choir, and, a miniature rifle shooting club.
Tho gymnasium ' has commonced its season with largo attendances. There are classes for business men, ladies, boys, together with speoial tuition in boxing by Mr. Tim Tracy, middleweight champion of Now Zealand.
