The ordinary meeting of the City ■OoiuicE was held last night. There were present:, The Mayor (Mr. J. P. Luk6), Councillors W. H. P. Barber, G. Frost, J. Godher, J. Hutcheson, A. R. Atkinson, l>. M'Kenzie, W. H. Bennott, M. P. Luokie, A. Veitoh, R. A. Wright, W. T. Hildreth, and J. E. Fitzgerald. . • The Town. Clerk was directed to advise 1 the' Hataitai Municipal Electors' AssociatioiL that the schedule of eugcested requirements of the Hataitai disteicfc mil be given consideration tfhen conditions are favourable. . The City Engineer was instructedto proceed as soon as possible with the erection of a publio convenience near the tramway terminus at 'South Kilbirniei ■••■.. '. The responsible officers were dfrected to make provision to remodel the level of the footpath on the .west side of Boulcott'Street and construct a permanent footpath as soon as possible. The City Engineer was authorised to proceed with the formation, of a high level footpath .to serve a number ofhouses: at Crawford Boad. ./..-■
