Brussels and Antwerp, are well supplied' with food, which has boen ■ produced -in Belgium as plentifully as before the war. The shops ajid theatres, are crowded with fashionabla ■women. ■! The statements have produced a sen-, sation, because all the world lad understood that Belgium' was-starving. The Belgian Embassy does not deny, , the truthfulness of the statements, but tho secretary of the r Belgian-'.Belief Committee writes , generalising upon the hardships experienced/.during the German ocoupation^JJmted-Serijce.
