Tho only game down for decision was a- match between Boys' Institute and Petone for second place in the championj ship. Institute ijon by an innings and '181 runs. Institute have done remarkably well this season with, their cricket teams, having won the third grade and junior boys' championships, and finished runners-lip in the senior boys' competitions, out of four championships. Benjamin three for 19, H Hanson two foT 6, N. Blng three for 8, S. Dempster two for 4. , Junior Boys' Match. j The junior representatives, who made 99 runs, defeated F. Mills's team, which scored 43 runs. . In the junior match', Mariat v. Hutt, the second day of which was played at Hutt on Saturday, Hutt played their second innings. Their scores totalled 148 for the innings, the following being the highest:—F. Lusty, 21; J. H. Clout, 27; P. Smith. 31; A. Smith (not out), 19. ' The match resulted in a win for Marist by 208 against 190.
