Mails for United Kingdom, America, and all oversea countries, including Australia, will be dispatched from time to time by best route without special notification. Correspondence for all neutral countries ,is subject to censorship. . . ' Parcels for dispatch by steamers and trains, with tho exception of the usual ferry steamers for southern offices, close at the Chief Post Office, Wellington, one hour before the advertised timeo of closing of m*ils. The parcel post mail per Main Trunk express cloaes at. the C.P.O. at 11.30 a.m., and for the south per ferry steamer at 5.45 p.m. The advertised times for closing mails by steamers are liable to alteration (earlier or later) at any moment. Easter Holidays.—On Good Friday, April 6, the Postal Departnieut will be closed in all its branches. Mails for dispatch by Bteomers will ckwe at 8 p.m. on the previous evening, and the only dispatches of correspondence by trains will close on Good Friday as follows:—For the Wairarapa, Hawke's Bay, Manawatu, Itangitikci, Wanganui, and Taranaki districts at 5.45 «..m.; for Auckland and Auckland district at 8 a.m. The city and suburban' recoivors will not be cleared during the day. but tho midnight clearances will bo made as usual. There will not be any deliveries by letter-carriers on Good'Fri-i day, but on Thursday, April 5, the Careers' Department (upstairs from Featherston, Street) will be open rfor the delivery of correspondence addressed to streets in the city and suburbs from 8 to 9 p.m.; also the public counter for tho delivery of correspondence addressed Chief Post Office, and the parcels delivery counter will be open from 8 to 9 p.m. On Easter Monday,' April 9, the Chief Post Office will be open in 'all its branches (except Money Order and Savings Bank) from, 9to 10 a.m. Mails for dispatch by steamers will close at 8 a.m., and the only dispatches of correspondt/ce by trams will close as follows:—For tho Wairarapa, Hawke's Bay, Manawatu, Eangitikei, Wanganui, and Taranaki districts- at 5.45 a.m.; for Auckland and Auckland district ,&t 8 a.m. The city and suburban receivers will not be cleared during the day, but night clearances will be made as usual. There will be no delivery of correspondence by letter-carriers in the city or suburbs, but on Saturday, April 7, the letter-carriers will make a full delivery-in the'-city and suburbs in the afternoon, for -which correspondence must be posted at the Chief Post Office by 1.40 p.m. The Letter-carriers' Department (upstairs from Fcathorston Street) will be open from 8 to' 9 p.m. on Satur-V dfer for the delivery of correspondence addressed to .streets in. the city and suburbs; also the public delivery counter will be open from 8 to 9 p.m. for the delivery of correspondence addressed to the Post Office, and the parcels delivery t counter will be open from 8 to, 9 p.m. A.-P.
