COLLEGE GOVERNORS
MONTHLY MEETING. The Hon. J.' G. W. 'Aitken (chairman), Messrs. A. Warburton, W. H. P. Barber, W. H. Field, and Prof. Easterfield were present at a meeting of the Board of Governors of the Wellington College and Girls! College held yesterday morning. The statement of finance showed a credit balance" of £2417 12s. lOd. The payments required were:—Wellington College, £898 3s. ii.; Girls' College, £542 10s. 4d.; a total of £1440 lSs.Sd. The outstanding fees were:—Wellington College. £1494,125. 2d.; Girls', College, £2912 15s. Bd. There was a sum of £997 Bs. 6d. outstanding for rents. The credit balance now stands at £4887 Bs. 4d; The usual allowances of £20 each towards the kits of Messrs. G. W. Morioo and P. A. Ongloy, teachers, who were joining the forces as officers, were agreed to. It was explained that in all cases of teachers enlisting, whether as officers or privates, their income was made up equivalent to what it was when in the employ of the board;
