The Wanganui Education Board wrote stating it cannot seo its way to agree to tho Land Board's proposal to limit its right'of occupation to the present 6chool site (Lots 10 of Section 299 and 2 of Section 300, Palmerston North) to two years, and asked to be allowed to continue in occupation until the school is erected on the now site. Tho board adheres to its original resolution, but if on expiry of term tho Education Board requires extension, tho Land. •Board will grant it. • O. L. Winger asked for exemption from residence on Section 12/ Block VI, Owhango Township, for a further period; area 3 acres 7 roods 4 perches. —Granted 12 months' exemption. Qeorgo Gore/selector of Section 6, Block V. Hunua, applied for exemption' from' rent whilst on active sen-ice. Tho application was granted.
